Aurelie Tran, MD is a general surgery resident physician at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. The child of Vietnamese refugees, Dr. Tran developed a deep conviction for empathy and advocacy at a young age. As a physician interested in health advocacy, Dr. Tran has an abiding interest and demonstrated commitment to serving unhoused youth and surgical patients experiencing homelessness. She previously served as Youth/LGBTQ+ Clinic Director, Advocacy Taskforce Leader of the Suitcase Clinic, a youth homeless shelter in Berkeley, CA. During medical school, she served as Director of the University of Michigan Student-Run Free Clinic. Dr. Tran received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School.
